'Good location for skipton centre, canal towpath at the end of the street. We enjoyed a drink in the bar, all the staff were very friendly especially the breakfast chef. '

Lovely room 1 Pen-y-gent the walk in shower i wish i could take home. Plenty of tea coffee in room and toiletries.
Had steak and ale pie with veg and chips. Big chunks of tender meat in luscious gravy, chips were home made and not the usual frozen ones! Meal was excellent.

'First time staying at this lovely 16th century hotel in beautiful Burnsall. Everything about my visit went well, my room was lovely, clean and comfortable. As a sole older woman traveller, some hotels are less accepting of the fact I'm by myself but the staff here were kind and friendly and it makes a huge difference. I will definitely go back. '

'Host Debbie was very welcoming, the room was very clean and the bed linen very fresh. The room could do with a little TLC with a wonky toilet seat, shower door loose and the creeking floor boards that added character to the room. Hotel is located to easy access all Skipton amenities and surrounding area. I would recommend this hotel.'

'Highfield house is very close to centre of Skipton. Parking is relatively easy in the area. Our host was available when I called to ask about parking on drive and as she had finished preparing the rooms allowed us to check in then. Very helpful.'

'Beautifully situated and comfortable traditional farmhouse accommodation. Michelle is an excellent host, nothing too much trouble, and with amazing breakfasts. It was so convenient to be able to walk directly from the door, with the Pennine Way literally on the doorstep. Would highly recommend as a base to explore Malham and the beautiful Yorkshire dales. '

'A lovely cosy cottage with everything you need for a walking holiday. Plenty of info from the helpful owner who came around to explain things shortly after I arrived. A short walk to the station. Parking OK outside cottage as long as you have a relatively small car (larger cars can park further down the lane I think). All in all an excellent cottage.'
