Do not stay here this hotel is a rip off!
We stayed 4 nights. The floor in the entrance hall is old and looks tired. When we checked out we were surprised by the amount to be paid extra. We were charged an outrageous amount for 8 small bottels of Evian water. The water was placed everyday on the side of the wash basin and not in the minibar so we assumed these bottels to be complimentary. It is very dangerous in Bogota to take a cab randomly in the streets so we asked the hotel to call us a cab every time we went out. Turned out we paid more than double compared with regular cab prices for the hotel taxi. We had breakfast 2 times in this hotel and the second time my partner found himself chewing on a long hair in the Bread that was served on the table. Breakfast was 45 euro each time for the two of us and it was nothing special. Remember that food is extremely cheap in zocalo via, so you better eat outside! We just had bread with scrambled eggs and coffee. Another point, We asked for an iron and they said they had no iron board and we had to wait. A lady came up to pick up the clothes that needed to be ironed. We were charged for the ironing as well plus taxes. When we requested a late checkout the lady said we could stay without charge, but on the day of departure we were told to pay half rate so we declined and left the room early. The location of the hotel is good. I would advise everybody tostay away from this hotel since the hotel policy is not correct
