We stayed at the Hilton Aruba from July 11th until July 21st. We were one of the first guests after the reopening of the hotel after the corona shutdown. We had a beautiful ocean view room, 475 sq.ft. in the Aruba tower. Room was big and clean. The hotel has beautiful grounds, beautiful pools and great acces to the beach, which is gorgeous here. Best beach of the island! The staff is very friendly and helpful, they know you by name.
The Hilton used to have a very good buffet breakfast, but do to corona they decided to have breakfast a la carte. This appeared to be very difficult for the hotel. Unfortunately the breakfast often was mixed up or inconsistent.The staff was trying very hard as did Justin, the food and beverage director, but it was hard for them to turn it around.
The hotel has a cute little coffeeshop/minimarket and a very big boutiqueshop. The famous spa was still closed due to corona.
The location of the hotel is perfect all the shops and restaurants are in walking distance.
Overall we would give the hotel an 8 out of 10. If the buffet breakfast would be available again, we would definitely visit this beautiful hotel, with the kindest staff, again!
