We stayed in Parc Hotel Ariston for a week. The reason for us to select this hotel was the location and surroundings. The location indeed appeared to be perfect; stunning views from the terrace, near the historical centre of Taormina & the bus terminal is located almost in the backyard of the hotel. The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful and well maintained park & and top of that it has a nice swimming pool.
Our room was on the smaller site, but offered all the necessary facilities. It was facing a rock wall and had a tiny terrace (unfortunately privacy was lacking a bit). Because of the rock wall, no direct sunlight entered the room. That may be favourable on hot summer days, but it also causes for the room to be a little dark. It wasn't damp though. Our room was located on the first floor, with the restaurant kitchen right below it which appeared to be quite noisy, especially in the early mornings.
During our stay we made use of the breakfast buffet. The quality of the food & beverages offered is good & there's enough variety. The warmly decorated restaurant is quite big & has a small terrace on which one can enjoy breakfast with a breathtaking (see)view.
Since we didn't exactly pay a top rate for our stay in the hotel, we were satisfied with our stay.
