The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood. Especially if you want to see how the regular people live, the hotel is well-located and yet well connected to the rest of the city. The personnel is very friendly and polite, though their knowledge of English is very limited. The rooms are very neat and tidy and are well-maintained. Every day, between 10 am and 2 pm, they change the bed sheets, provide new towels and clean the rooms. If you are sleeping in around that time or do not want to leave your room for any other reason, they will leave a laundry bag containing clean towels in front of your door. The rooms are airconditioned and well-equipped. You have wifi as well as lan cable and the internet connection is quite good (you can also use the wifi in the hotel lobby for free). The only disadvantage is that they rooms are quite small - but then again you are also not paying that much for them. For people who love a Japanese-style breakfast, you will love the morning buffet. However, for those with a more European/American orientation, they also serve big slices of bread, jam, scrambled eggs, cereals etc. The ambience is quite nice and again the personnel serving the breakfast and cleaning up after you are very friendly. On the sixth floor, the hotel also has vending machines, where you can buy bottles of water, sodas, and Japanese beverages. All in all, this hotel has everything you need in order to turn your stay in Yokohama into a successful and enriching experience.
