Excellent place to be in Cartagena
I stayed for four nights in the hotel; and it was a great pleasure. It is a beautiful old colonial-style hotel which is very quiet as it is outside the Centro Historico of Cartegena. But this is actually an advantage. In the room, or outside around the pool - where an excellent breakfast is being served - you are away from the buzz of the busy city centre. I really enjoyed this and could relax. The pool is nice to cool down after a hot stray in town. The staff of the hotel is very pleasant and they assist you in all ways. This is a great plus to the hotel. The wifi works fine. The only (small) disadvantage is the distance to the restaurants but by combining this with a nice walk to the walled centre it was also a convenience. In case of, taxis are easily to be found in front of the hotel.
