Very nicely located hotel at lake titicaca
The location of this small hotel was perfect, directly at the shore of the lake, with rooms with lake view (we could choose our own room!). The owners were very hospitable. They picked us up at the bus station themselves (while our bus was an hour late!). One of them spoke fairly good English and he explained us a lot about the surroundings. The hotel was situated about 12k outside of Puno, it was a very quiet place. The owners were always willing to take us to the center of Puno (15 min drive) for a lower rate than a taxi, and we took a taxi back. The food is very good (homecooked), and the owner has his own trout cages at the lake, which you can visit with a small boat. We were even invited to eat cake with the family when it was their son's birthday! :) We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, it was a very relaxing place. We stayed there for 5 days.
