The hotel has a nice look making you feel like you're in a bit of a oasis. The surrounding city completely disappears because of it.
Staff was friendly but a bit unprofessional.
Paying on arrival, only for them to discover Expedia also already made the transaction - So I paid double. They quickly discovered this and corrected the mistake. But still...
We checked in 2 hours early, they kindly let us, but 1 room wasn't ready yet. It took them 3 hours to sort it out and I suspect they forgot about the 2nd room and didn't want to provide it at all.
After repeated "wait for a whiles, we're cleaning the room" excuses I finally got the 2nd room and found it not so clean... Dust everywhere where a easy wipe couldn't reach.
Wifi was pretty much non-existent and I couldn't connect my laptop at all. My phone kept dropping the connection because the signal was so weak. Absolutely useless.
In both rooms amenities like towel hooks, tiling, outlets and small things like that were worn out or outright broken. Not a big deal, but once you poke through the thin layer of luxury you see at first glance a bit of a downer.
Overall a fine hotel. But if I had to pay full price and this is what I got it's not something I'd return for.
