We were sent a single email informing us that the location of our stay had changed across the city. The email went straight into junk mail. No courtesy phonecall, no Expedia messages (where we booked). Therefore... we arrived at the original purchase location near other Hotels/Apartments our friend were situated in only to find out that we had been moved across town. We wasted money on 2 Bolt ride shares getting back across the city. When we mentioned our terrible experience to the staff they only gave a snarky apology and did not offer any compensation. I even had an Expedia rep call them to get compensation, they still refused.
In my option if you can no longer accommodate your guests at a certain location you should cancel the booking, NOT pocket the money and place them at one of your other locations.
We spent the rest of the weekend on and off the underground and spending too much on ride shares because we were no longer staying near out friends.
The service staff really didn't care that we had not gotten the communication. So if you're going to book with them, triple check your junk email before arriving.
