Decent, clean place.
The place was nice and clean, had good facilities (like a powder room) and you get a little goodie bag for every night that you’re staying. At the ladies floor you get a towel, face towel and pyjamas to borrow, and a bag to keep with face products, cotton swabs and pads, a hair brush, a tooth brush and toothpaste. Very considerate.
The lockers are too narrow to fit a bigger suitcase but you can store it at the reception if you want. Note that the staff does not usually speak English, AT ALL. I was lucky one morning to find one person that spoke a few words, but the other moments I had to communicate it was all hand and feet. Also important to know: although it is not in the house rules, with tattoos you are forbidden from using the spa facilities. I know that’s the general rule in Japan, but since it wasn’t in the house rules I thought i’d be able to use the spa facilities. I asked just to be sure and turns out the rule is so common it’s not even in the actual house rules. I respect that, but just know what the dealio is with this.
