A good business trip
I chose this hotel based on previous traveler ratings. I didn’t want to spend $250-300 per night on a business trip so I chose this place at $130 per night. It’s not too far out of town and close to Bayamón where I had business.
Ana, the owner or caretaker- not sure - was super pleasant and immediately put up with my poor Spanish. She speaks no English. She showed us our rooms, delivered bottled water and just left us alone. She’s super cool.
The rooms are basic- kinda like Mexico on a budget. It’s super clean, smells clean and the bed was king size and decent. No frills people.
I would stay here again in a minute. My wife would not. She wasn’t traveling with me but I just know her.
The neighborhood seems sketchy but was not. The neighbors are Puerto Rican, which means, they are nice and pleasant but they love their loud music. Not a problem for me. I love PR people.
Bring your own shampoo, shower soap and a wash cloth or scrunchy- it’s basic here. I had hot water, in Room 13 my boss did not in Room 8- if that helps.
You can find great places to eat nearby in Dorado or there is a food truck near the hotel that loves their music.
I think I saw a pool online when I booked the place. Never saw a pool.
Again, Ana was great!!
