On the second of three-day stay I received a note in my room to talk to reception about my reservation. At reception I was told I was 'no-show' on the first day of my trip and that I should have checked out that morning - nothing was said about this at check-in! The hotel said that I should call Expedia. Expedia, nor the hotel had received a confirmation of an earlier 1-day postponement of my trip, although Expedia had confirmed telephonically that the postponement was OK with the hotel. The hotel and Expedia tried to avoid talking to each other, although in the end they did. Neither party was willing or able to take responsibility. Finally, I had to pay for an extra day, after being on the phone for an hour in front of the reception desk. I no longer felt welcome at this hotel, although the stay had been fine until then and all other personnel had been very kind and the food great. Reception, as important contact point, is not an asset to the hotel. I would not recommend others to visit this hotel for that reason.
