Clean hotel with bad reception
Stayed for 7 nights here.
The hotel was very clean, and the studio room was spacious. The breakfast was okay, but it became repetitive over a longer stay.
Unfortunately, the reception staff was generally unwelcoming and unkind. They rarely smiled or greeted guests warmly. While there was one receptionist who was very nice and helpful, the rest of the staff were unfriendly and unprofessional. Additionally, they didn't resolve any problems that arose during our stay.
All rooms are close to the highway, resulting in noise. The issue with the curtains not fully blocking the light was left unresolved, likely due to poor design, with no alternatives offered. The room received sunlight very early, around 03:00, and the curtains didn’t fully block the light, which might be troublesome for light sleepers.
Another issue was the lack of separated beds in the studio. When we asked for a solution, the only option presented was a downgrade to a smaller room. They didn’t offer an upgrade to a room with two separate beds, even if we were willing to pay more. This inflexibility and lack of customer service added to the disappointment.
The location is okay, about a 25-minute bus ride to Stockholm city.
Overall, while the cleaning staff was great, the reception staff was disappointing and unprofessional.
