The apartment has a great location, but that´s where it ends.
It was supposed to have wifi included, but we had to pay €35 for the week we stayed there.
During a heavy rainfall the electrical wires in the bathroom caught on fire resulting in no power in half the apt. We had the washing machine going which stopped working. The result was wet clothes, full of soap with nowhere to dry them (damp apartment). First the power for half the apartment went (including fridge/freezer), but there was no help as it was after working hours. We managed to untangle the wires, in a holde in the wall, causing the problem (they had exposed metal rubbing against eachother), so that the fridge started working again.
The outdoor space looked like it had never been cleaned and was green from algae. It stank!
We are still waiting for the return of security deposit. I tried calling Barbarhouse, but no answer. I sent an email through their website, but no reply. By the way: in order to contact them, you have to agree to 3rd party advertising.
This company seems to be doing the absolute minimum for their guests. Not even a cutting board in the kitchen. And it looks like they are keeping our deposit…
