Nice and big hotel, directly on the beach.
The hotel is in the tourist area of Ixtapa; basically a row of big hotels where this is one of the furthest away from that centre. Approx. 450-500 yards.
You will find the 'towel-people' here (claim a pool chair in the early morning) but there are still plenty available. The pool is not deeper than a yard and rather big. Rooms are not spacious but clean and with air conditioning.
Regardless on which side you are, there will (loud) music in the evening. Sometimes until 2AM.
The food is, well, all-inclusive food: mass produced and limited choice. All buffets have a lot of choice but, for me, a bit too much of the same. The Italian restaurant was the exception: fresh prepared (except the deserts).
Personel is extremely friendly and helpful and clearly 'smiling for tips'.
The place is crowded with Canadians, Americans and a few Mexicans.
