Hotel and bar staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Property itself was very peaceful for the most part and not crowded.
The apartment was big enough for 2 people.
The only downside is the cleaners started at 8:30am each morning so you could hear a huge amount of noise from early hours, even with noise cancelling headphones! Constant furniture moving, slamming doors and dragging carts around. They came in and woke us us up for the last two mornings. On the final morning, check out was 11am but the cleaners came in at 8:30am so I asked them to come back later after check out. They then came again at 9:10am and told them again to please come back after check out. I’m not sure why they don’t come later in the morning after people have gotten ready, had breakfast and gone out for the day, around 10am maybe, especially considering we were self-catering. Overall though the experience was nice, a great selection of drinks at the bar and a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere other than the disturbed sleep.
The phone in the room also did not work at they got my name wrong so I couldn’t log into the wifi but minor issues.
