Property is close to the beach and having access to a private beach that is quiet and not crowded in Bermuda is a great feeling. The property is also maintained well, swimming pool always clean and the grounds well maintained and beautiful.
The issues we had were really with food and transportation. The food at the on-site restaurant was average. The people were trying to be very helpful, but when we went for dinner, the place was understaffed, One person handled the entire dining area. We waited for 1.5 hours for dinner, and the food was just ok. There are two other options near by - the good one , Paraquet, is at a distance where it is too silly to call a taxi. You can walk, but this was difficult for us since we had to walk in the hot sun, sweating, with kids that were just too tired.
Which brings me to transportation. Buses are easy and cheap, but the but stop at the entrance of the hotel is a bit of a walk along a long pathway through Bermuda college. you could do it in the morning, but after a day full of activities, it is hard to walk back in the heat with kids in tow. Taxis are available but expensive. If the resort could provide better options for food and a shuttle from the hotel entrance to the bus stop at the main road, I would probably stay here again.
