Review for Daiwa Roynet Hotel in Kobe
Our stay at the Daiwa Roynet Hotel in Kobe had both positives and negatives.
Positives:
• Check-in went smoothly and the reception staff were very nice.
• The room was very spacious and included a massage chair.
• The location was excellent, right in the center and just a few minutes’ walk to the station.
• The bed, bathroom, and toilet were clean.
Negatives:
• Unfortunately, we were given a smoking room despite having two small children. It was not possible to change rooms.
• The hotel tried to mitigate the issue by providing an air cleaner, but the smell persisted and was very unpleasant even after four nights.
• The carpet in the room was quite dirty and sticky, which was uncomfortable as we prefer not to wear shoes indoors.
Overall, while the hotel’s central location and room size were great, the lingering smoke smell and dirty carpet significantly affected our experience. Check-out, however, was smooth.
