Hotel is located perfectly - just a couple of minutes from many of the famous sights, and next to a cute little canal. It took me some time to find it (but that's not uncommon in Venice) but I was pleased with the hotel when I got there. Staff is allright (level of English varies between staff, and some are more friendly and open than others - but all are allright). Room was small but perfectly fine: balcony overlooking the small canal included! Bathroom is tiny, but as I'm a small person no problems there. Getting the shower working was a bit tricky, took me quite a few attempts and assistence from the hotel desk employee for the night.
I've read a review about this hotel about somebody claiming to be a small person yet not fitting into the shower (it being so tiny): that's exaggerated (or that person isn't actually that small): it's small but not impossible.
Atmosphere is really calm and relaxed - no noise as night, despite being in the middle of city centre. Everything was clean and decent as well.
Breakfast is simple but good.
Overall: definately recommendable, and if I visit Venice again in the future I'll make sure to check this hotel first for availability! (it's small, 8 rooms or so, so it fills up quite easily)
I was there for business, but it's certainly a good hotel for tourism as well.
