The hotel is just outside Milan and we had a little trouble finding it. According to the TomTom the hotel is in a different city, the city limit sign of Milan however, is just 50 meters from the hotel.
The service of the concierge is great and he was very helpful navigating the metro and the city. City maps are available at the service desk. Weird thing about milan is that the Metro stops working at 0.30. What most people, and we din't initially, know, is that busses take over the Metro lines above ground. Anyway, just ask the concierge.
The room looked really nice and their was even a second double bed hidden in a couch. Prices of the mini bar are verry acceptable but stocked minimalistically. Everything looked clean and nice. Only downside was that the tv (remote?) Didn't work. The hotel offers sandwiches and free roomservices, but there is also a McDonalds just 100m from the hotel. (Also a carrefour).
Weird thing about the neigbourhood was that, when we walked back at 02.00 to the hotel, (metro / bus stop is 15 min walk), there is a prostitute area some 150m from the hotel. (Near the athletic track; towards milan). They won't bother you near the hotel, but prepared to be offered services when walking to the hotel at night.
The hotel is open 24/7 and pretty close to a shopping center and metro/bus lines. So getting to the centre of milan is only a 30 min bus ride or 20 min metro ride away. All and all, really good value.
