Outstanding service, lousy weather.

The room was a bit cramped for two people, but not really a problem as we were just sleeping there. The full breakfast was brilliant. Whatever you want and as much as you want, and outstanding quality. (If you want veggi sausages, let the landlord know the evening before, so he can defrost them overnight). One minor quip, due to the stormy weather, the outside of the "sea-view" window became filthy in hours.

Hotel owner Mark could not have been more hospitable if he tried , I arrived a lot earlier than expected , not a problem for him , he sorted out room quickly & took my bags up to my room within 10 minutes. Breakfast was superb , as much or as little as you wanted perfectly cooked. Room was clean , well decorated with nice matching furniture & a lovely sea view (despite the lousy weather). Would totally recommend to all & if I ever decide to return for a trip to Blackpool this hotel will be my 1st choice

Friendly place to stay.

Good location for seeing Blackpool, Lovely, welcoming hosts. Breakfast was hot and fresh ingredients, comfortable beds. Only downside was poor WiFi signal.

Myself and my friend stayed at the sandford, on arrival we were greeted by a lovely guy, he helped me with my car parking and made us feel so welcome, the room was perfect for us, the location was perfect, breakfast was lovely and could have as much as we wanted, nothing was too much bother for yhe entire family and we will definatelt go back

We couldn't have booked a more perfect place to stay! The owners take great effort to make sure guests are happy and comfortable, they put their heart and soul into everything, we felt very comfortable and at home here. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. The breakfast is amazing and all locally sourced, a good selection of cereals, toast and full cooked breakfast, hot drinks and juices. The location is perfect, right in-between pleasure beach and the tower, close enough to everything but far away enough for a peaceful night, we will definitely book here every time to visit Blackpool

Great stay at the Sandford

Many thanks to Mark & family for providing such a homely base to enjoy our Blackpool weekend getaway. Excellent breakfast, incredibly well stocked bar at reasonable prices, very friendly host. Good location with parking available & 2 min walk from a tram stop.

Our second stay here and would return again. Great location on the seafront with car parking available, rooms small but absolutely suited our needs and very clean. Hosts are lovely and friendly and could not have been more welcoming, breakfast superb. Bar in the property with pool table and a selection of kiddies toys, when you walk in to a box of buckets and spades at the door for use you know your on a winner with kids. Love Blackpool and so heartbreaking to see so many hotels out of business and derelict, support smaller local hotels instead of some of the large chain properties.
