So the good, the bad, and the ugly of this choice.
First, the good. The location cannot be beat. The flats are within walking distance of four or five tube stations, hundreds of restaurants and pubs, as well as a dozen or so landmarks. For the price, this is an excellent choice for people that don’t need hotel amenities during their stay.
I really cannot stress enough just how much I loved the location. First night, we walked one block and were able to stop the fridge from one of the local groceries. Were able to take a break in the middle of each day because of its vicinity to several tube stations as well. we were there seven nights, saw five shows, and the flat was within a 15 minute walk of six of those shows.
The bad. The stairs getting to the flat are exceptionally narrow. We were lucky in that we had the flat on the second floor, so we only had two flights of stairs each time. So if you have an issue with stairs, this would definitely be a challenging place for you. Also, the flat is hot and there is no way to cool it off. The windows open, but they don’t provide much of ventilation and absolutely no Crossbreeze. There is a fan provided, but it might be one of the most useless fans I’ve ever seen.
Finally, the ugly. The toilet is smaller than most American closets. It is extremely hot and narrow. Very uncomfortable.
Still a 5 star review largely due to the location and price!! Would definitely stay there on a return trip.
