The hotel and its staff were amazing! I have to mention the friendliness of Bashir, the kindness of Mustafa (who took good care of us making sure we felt at home), the dedication and extreme care of Muhamed, and how well Mustafa 2 made sure we were cared for by the taxi drivers.
We had a very bad experience with taxi driver #527 who was very rude and refused to take us directly to the hotel entrance. He did not speak English, Spanish nor French, so we could not understand each other. We paid the taxi fee at the Airport and the receipt specifies the address of the hotel.
Booking our Hot Air Balloon Trip and Camel Ride through Expedia was another bad experience since Expedia only confirmed the payment and hotel pick up at 6:00 a.m. We never received confirmation nor additional information from the local provider (Atlas Balloon). We lost this lifetime experience due to inadequate management from Expedia. According to Atlas Balloon we should have received a voucher with instructions for trip check-in and details about the pick uo at 4:50 a.m. NOT 6:00 am, as detailed in the Expedia trip confirmation. We were contacted by Atlas Balloon, and they gave us only the Camel Ride. Unfortunately, we were not able to book the Balloon Ride for later since we were leaving Marrakesh that afternoon.
Another very nice experience was provided by the driver Atlas Balloon sent for us. His name is Walid. He made a difference by giving us good recommendations for a great spa (Primavera).
