We stayed at this hotel for six nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is stunning, surrounded by nature with gorgeous views. Our room was spacious with a breathtaking view of Magens Bay and the mountains. The property is charming, and my kids loved watching the chickens and cats roaming around.
We also enjoyed the tennis courts, which are lighted at night—perfect for evening games. However, be aware you’ll need to bring your own rackets and balls, as the hotel doesn’t provide any and there’s no nearby store to purchase them.
The on-site café was fantastic, and we visited every morning. The restaurant served good food, though the service was very slow. While the hotel is near the beach, it’s not walking distance for families with kids.
There were a few downsides. One night, a major leak occurred in the TV area during rain. Although staff came quickly to clean it up (I had to contact them), it was inconvenient. Additionally, there was no room service throughout our stay. We had to take out our own trash and visit reception for essentials like shampoo, towels, toilet paper and bedding.
Despite these issues, the hotel’s natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere made it a relaxing getaway. With improvements to service and maintenance, this place could be truly amazing.
