The hotel has let itself go quite a bit, but apparently the rooms were done over and the price was right, so I thought I would gove a
It a go. When I arrived, first impressions weren’t good. The outside hasn’t been done over yet, and it looks rough.
However: service at the reception was excellent and indeed the rooms were like new. A comfortable bed, good cushions and quiet. Waht more would you want for a stop-over? There is a KFC next door so you cab eat something if you want. The hotel on the other side of the road, Brit Hotel, which is part of the same operation, has a restaurant too. I was expecting the usual French hotel restaurant thing there (i.e. not much) but this morning it smelled fantastic and fresh with a lot better quality then I expected ( that hotel also needs a make over).
So in short: if you looks past the outsides, all very good!
