Friendly priced for the area
This hotel is a friendly priced hotel (for the area), but is also seriously outdated.
The bed was convenient and so was the bathroom. The unit had 2(!) toilets, as well as a kitchen block. Everything worked and it was cleaned. The view was on another building and not on the lake as is advertised.
The Hotel has a parking garage underneath the building, and you can park yourself (turn right just before you reach the hotel entrance).
During our stay we experienced some tropical storms and the water seeped through the window and from the roof.
Yes, this building is seriously outdated.
The staff was friendly and helpful. They made me a welcoming guest, despite the fact that I had to pay for a late check-out. If it was for the staff, I would definitely return.
The pool looked nice with artificial grass around it. Unfortunately, I was not able to use it because of the storms.
Finally, Breakfast was very basic.
The location of the hotel is close to the highway and some 5 minutes walking to the marina restaurants and shops. There is a small supermarket right next door. The Marina mall is a 5-10 minute walk.
We selected this hotel because everything else around the Dubai Marina was outrageously priced, and so, despite all the minusses mentioned, this is the best place to stay at the Dubai Marina if you don't want to break the bank.
