The hotel is close to the airport, a little more than a 5 minute drive from there. At first glance it looks to be everything a 5 star hotel should be and the luxury you associate with it. The room (superior with pool view) was spacious, but the overall impression is that it could use an update to present standards. The tv for instance is totally outdated, not to speak of the image quality, which is very poor. Wifi speed was acceptable throughout the hotel.
The cleaning leaves somewhat to be desired. An ant I squashed on the edge of the bathroom floor, was still there after two days. Which to me is an indication that the bathroom floor wasn't cleaned thoroughly every day. Dust everywhere in the room. In the gym cob webs around a television, and some of the machines I used hadn't been cleaned thoroughly for a long time. At the end of the pool, there is a roof where a lot of pigeons sit, and in the pool you could see there droppings everywhere. Not very appetizing. The droppings were also on the seats of the restaurant/bar underneath the roof.
Service good be better, al well as the food (breakfast choice was overwhelming, but the quality was poor).
Very nice and well maintained garden, but why do they need to use part of it to store broken deck chairs?
Loud music everywhere (even at the pool), that was very annoying. Do people have a hearing problem here?
