Beautiful, top design, interesting with a brewery and gardens, and even if there were many group trips, the accomodation was quiet, with views over the valley. The new wing, with terrace was exquisite and quiet. Food is also very beautiful but way overpriced and with extremely little portions. ON the continent 'nouvelle cuisine' meaning 'pretty but petite' is no longer in the mode. With Norwegian prices, having to get full thanks to the bread is actually not so fun- and there is no pizzeria in the neighborhood. Since we know it is the labor cost and not the food cost that drives prices up, a few more pieces of asparagus or makrel would be welcome for people who drove 9 hours to get there.
