So we went to the hotel, and from the moment we arrived, the experience was underwhelming. Tanisha, who greeted us at the front desk, was very rude and unwelcoming. She gave us an attitude, was not helpful at all, and honestly made us feel like we were bothering her just by being there.
We couldn’t check in until 3 PM, which we understood, so we waited. When 3 PM came around, we went to check in. My friend and I had booked a room with two beds—but Tanisha gave us a room with one king-size bed instead. We went back down to the front desk to let them know about the mistake and asked to be moved to the room we actually paid for. We were mostly ignored and had to wait another hour before finally being moved.
When we got to the new room, it was not what we expected. There were a lot of mosquitoes—I was bitten multiple times. The room felt very plain and outdated. I’ll give it a 4 out of 10.The food was okay. They had a buffet, which was decent, but I’ve had much better food at other resorts. As for nightlife—there really wasn’t any. There was karaoke every night, but it ended at 11 PM. Beyond that, there was nothing else to do in the evenings, which made the stay pretty boring. Some of the staff where unfriendly, shout out to Crazy Legs, who brought the fun and energy. He was great! We booked two excursions through the hotel and both times they were late for pickup we waited almost two hours for pickup, waste of time. Overall, I had better experience elsewhere.
