For the most part the staff was knowledgeable and attentive. Rooms were comfortable and homey, just on the small side, but very clean when we arrived and during our week stay. The one negative was that on a couple of occasions the shower went from cold to hot to very hot suddenly. The breakfast was good: fruit, yogurt, scrambled eggs, sausage/bacon, waffles, coffee, cottage cheese, juices, bread, bagels. We heard the street noise from the room, but not unusual for New York City. Public transportation was easy to walk to. We would happily stay again!
