Good price / quality balance
We booked a room for 3 nights with 3 people. Apart from sleeping and having our breakfast here, so we haven't spend too much time here. It was a good experience overall and exactly what we expected given the price we had paid for it. Being a small hostel it has a cosy feeling and the staff is friendly and thoughtful as well.
The sanitary facilities are simple, a bit old but kept well clean. The same goes for the beds. For 60 SEK you can rent a towel and bed linen.
The breakfast consists of bread, some cheese and meats, but dairy as well. Coffee and tea are available. Both breakfast and coffee are included in the overall booking price.
The hostel is located just outside the city centre. Around the corner you will find the Sveavagen which has a lot of pubs, restaurants and shops. The entry to the subway (T-bana) is just around the corner, so you can travel fast to other places in the city. Don't forget to obtain a travel card which can save you a lot of money if you plan to see a lot during your stay!
Finally, be prepared that the hostel is located below street level so little sunshine gets in during the day. It made the hostel a bit dark and our room had no windows logically.
So, summarized: For the price being paid we had a good stay over here. If you are looking for a homely and cosy hostel at a fair price, don't look any further.
