The name hostel is correct. Expect a hostel.
The air conditioning is good, and the curtains keep out all light and heat. Beds are good and the staff is very friendly. The pool is nice, with music during the day. The free parking next to the building is a very big plus!
BUT...
The building is very noisy, both from your neighbors and the street noise. In the streets are the many many drunk Brits that stagger home each night, loudly.
The inner walls are made of cardboard, so your hear everything that goes on in the next room. Also, the only way to close the room doors seems to be to slam them shut, so that goes on at all hours (yes also deep into the night, this is Ibiza after all). Hard to sleep okay before 3:00 if you're not wasted.
The hotel has been refurbished a few years ago, but this did not seem to have included the bathrooms, which are tired and dirty. The cleaning staff is not doing the best job at keeping things clean, either.
The water pressure is very low, and at peak hours, the shower would run out of warm water altogether.
And finally, don't accept rooms 102, 211 or 212. The first seems to be haunted, with what sounds like rusty bedsprings being tortured in the walls. Impossible to sleep in that room, also not helped by the fact that is next to the staircase, where everyone stomps up and down at al and down at all hours, and the fact that you will hear everything that goes on in the lobby/bar. Rooms 211 and 212 sit aside the room with the cleaning supplies.
