Comfortable rooms with no extra service
We stayed in a loft suite as a family of three and it was very comfortable and spacious. Good view of skyline and lots of light in the room. Apart from that I felt that the hotel lacks service and warmth. They try hard to be a cool place that offers live music on the lobby but everything feels cold (also literally, air conditioning in lobby/bar is so cold that makes it an uninviting). Bar is only open from 5 to 8 in the evening. Staff seems very friendly but not really service oriented. This was the only hotel of many we stayed in Japan that no one helped us with our luggage, we have forwarded our luggage there and it was tucked away in a corner instead of in the room, I even had to ask about it. One day before leaving we have asked reception to reserve a transportation for the airport, her reply was "needs to be 2 days before, take a uber or 2 taxis". Had to solve it on my own... Never saw that in my life, all other places in Japan were more than happy to find us a transfer. It feels more a nice 3 stars than a real 4 stars. It lacks this little extra that other truly japanese hotels offer.
