Hotel Staff and Service was friendly and brilliant.
I have been taking my family probably 1-2 a year every year for 20 years. Never had a problem with not being able to eat inside the rooms in any hotel. The rule that no food can be eaten in the rooms, along with no breakfast/dining room available to eat in the hotel, was very inconvenient and painful to my mum who is elderly. All days, for breakfast and dinner, we were literally stuck in going out to expensive restaurants, rather than getting some basic stuff from the local Tesco and making your own sandwiches etc. We were strictly not allowed to eat in the rooms apparently because of the smell. But no effort was made to at least provide their breakfast room for maybe 20-30 minutes. It is not like we would not clean up after ourselves or bring back curries or strong smelling food. It was just basic things for sandwiches.
Also, it said on their website that the rooms come with cooked breakfast, but we were not served breakfast because apparently, this only happens from March 1st. So we could not even have our breakfast inside. We had to go walking outside. This is quite difficult with a family of 4 and an elderly lady.
