Please make it clear that you must pay in CASH. Not just a deposit but the whole amount. USD or CLP.
WiFi is a joke. Not just the poor level of Internet that is available, but the fact that you can't get a reliable connection from you room. You have to sit outside next to the main house. On the dusty furniture with the bugs flying around and the dogs barking away.
How can a place not have A/C (I understand that part) but not have screens on the balcony deck or window?? There ARE mosquitoes and other insects flying around.
Free toiletries? Not quiet. One bottle of hand soap.
Minibar? Its just a mini fridge. It does work OK for keeping my red wine slightly chilled.
Coffee/tea maker? Its just an electric kettle, so bring you own tea or instant coffee.
And, of course, roll on the customary warning of power and/or water may be going out to make it such a lovely experience.
Now, it is two steps above camping in a tent (except there you have window screens) and one above a hostel.
Steve did pick me up at the airport and gave a quick little tour pointing out a few sites. Do note that the seat isn't even attached to the floor and the vehicle is falling apart.
Its in a more rural setting, which has its charm. But without TV, and unreliable Internet, Cellular, power, water, etc….
