Great stay
The staffing was excellent and the facilities were very clean. It was a very pleasant 2 days. The food could have had more selections but overall it was a lovely time.

Amazing holiday, but...
I love the resort at Royal Decamron Cornwall Beach, especially as all rooms have that amazing sea view at no extra cost. This was our second time on the resort so many things were familiar to us. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, at times there did not appear to be enough of them, especially at meal times. We personally had good customer service, however other guests were seen to be less patient and resorted to not waiting to be seated, getting their own drinks and even cutlery. There was an obvious issue with there not being enough cutlery or glasses etc. (as well as staff) to cope with the demand at mealtimes. Staff themselves often showed their frustration. Although we were not personally affected, it was not pleasant to observe this, especially as this was not evident on our first visit. There was a good variety of local foods and family friendly choices. However, if you did not arrive at the beginning of meal service you did not always get the full compliment of dishes. Probably why many people chose to attend early and there being added pressure at mealtimes. Rooms were adequately cleaned and stocked, however, the consistency of towels etc. was dependent on the person cleaning the room. Overall Royal Decamron Cornwall Beach has capacity to be a great hotel due to location, design and amenities. However, more input is required to maintain a high standard for customers and their staff.

Not Up to Par
The service & attitude provided by the staff members is not up-to-par with other all inclusives we have stayed at. The staff members look unhappy as if they don't wish to be there; no one even speaks Spanish which is appalling considering half the guests at this hotel are Hispanic. On numerous occasions I had to step in and help translate. There's an ongoing issue with towels, which we later learned is due to the fact that they don't have their own on-site laundry center; towels are sent off-site for laundry each day. Upon arrival the reception did not explain or provide a pamphlet outlining all the dining options available to us. The one good review I'll add is that they provided a great variety in terms of food, and they really tried to incorporate local Jamaican cuisine into the offerings. The night time entertainment also showed great effort.

Worse hotel experience ever !!!
We had no hand towels, bath towels or bathmat when we got checked in. Told three different staff members about this and finally at about 8:30 PM we got 1 pool towel and that was it. It also stunk so we did not use it. The funny thing was when we told all three front desk people that we had an issue before I could even tell them they said "I bet you don't have any towels". 'They said that this is always a problem". We received none the next day after they cleaned our room but I did find a housekeeper and she did give us one face cloth and two towels. The shower had a broken shelf so we had no place to put our soap or shampoo.The front desk and management new of the problems but nobody gave a crap. If it was not for us talking to housekeeping and them fixing the issues we would never have gotten anything fixed. The bed was lumpy and the pillows hard. The only thing good about the room was the ac worked well and we had plenty of hot water. The food was way below average and there were flies always around uncovered food. The food was never hot and barely warm at best. No ac in any restaurant so be prepared to sweat your your you know what off. Half the fans don't work either. The beach was nice but there were so many people not staying in out hotel there smoking weed and trying to sell stuff it made for a miserable time. Security is a joke ! This is a 2 star hotel at best so please do not waste your hard earned money on this dump they call a hotel because you will be disapointed.

My 2 day stay
I checked in at 245pm and a room wasn't available. Waited 45 mins and was given a room that didn't have any towels. Also the sheets were dirty and the comforter had what looked to be a blood stain. We were only given 2 drying towels and was told they didn't have any wash clothes available. I will say the room was clean and the AC worked great. The food was good but buffett staff was slow and didn't seem to care about moving quicker. We had to wait to be seated and things would have been better if you could pick your own table instead of waiting for the hostess to take you to a table, give you silverware and water. The drinks were ok but the buffett bars blender was broke and they couldn't make blended drinks and the pool bar told my wife they didn't have enough ice and didn't try to get any either. Staff was always nice. This hotel is dated but clean with a nice pool and small beach area. Not a 3.5 rating more like a 2-2.5. All Inclusive sounds good but if you can't give all the perks why call it that. I won't stay here again unless everything else is booked.

The beach front is good and location is good. There is nothing else that I would recommend. The staff is not trained properly lacks professionalism for hospitality industry. The Hotel management cuts corners in important things like Check-in(pretty bad experience), the room was not available till 6:00. We waited in the lobby for 5 hours. The only good thing is the beach front and entertainment staff
