Stunning and very well-run country house. The rooms are fabulous, soundproofed and comfortable.
Christa, Marco and all the staff are friendly, helpful and informative.
The breakfast is amazing - hot food, fresh warm bread and an array homemade cakes and pastries, yoghurts, cereals etc, and the best coffee!
The pool area and garbdens are very well maintained.
The only downside was that there is no cafe/restaurant - even for lunch. They only serve drinks and coffees until 7.30pm.
You can bring food in and the staff will happily supply crockery and cutlery but it would have been lovely to have had some snacks availably during the day so you didn't have to go out to the shops - even a small a choice of ready made sandwiches would have been great (and they would make a killing!!).
It would also have been nice to have some music in the bar area just quietly playing in the background.
That would have enticed more people to sit in the bar , especially in the evenings.
Apart from that, it was a pleasure to stay there and have the peace and quiet of the countryside, and seeing the gorgeous animals was a bonus, goats, chickens and donkeys made it a really pleasant and
