We don’t usually go to a complex but we were very impressed with the design, layout and atmosphere of the whole place. The most important thing for us is quiet so we were anxious about this however, despite the complex being fully booked, all residents seemed to adopt a subtle approach to all activities, including the pool area. There were families but overall, the children were so well behaved and respectful of others.
Our suite was large and the view of the sea was soothing. Beds very comfortable, air con immensely necessary and effective and the cleaning service top drawer. Our only thoughts were that there weren’t a lot of kitchen appliances, utensils and crockery, but if you don’t like cooking, no problem. Also, the sofa and chairs were very uncomfortable, although I note that some properties had more modern furniture. That being said, these thoughts do not warrant any reduction in our 5 * rating! It was our first visit to Portugal and we will definitely be back, in a villa next time but they looked booked up for the foreseeable future!
