Unsatisfactory service - non admittance
Unfortunately we had a very bad experience on Tuesday the 29th May 18. First we had difficult time tracing this place as it's not sign posted from the main road. We finally arrived and packed our car by the gate for ten minutes waiting for the gate door bell to be answered as the gate was not manned.
Finally two inexperienced girls came to the gate who had no idea that we were coming so no preparation had been made. We were handed over the phone to speak to the owner of the place who was in Nairobi and who didn't know we had a reservation for that night neither could she trace my payment for the night.
We were disappointed and felt very unsafe at the premises as the place was quite dark with no other guests staying in. With the owner having no knowledge of our booking we had to leave at night and had to look for alternative accommodation in Nyahururu town.
We arrived back home in the UK yesterday post our holiday in Kenya, I have not had an apology from this hotel nor a follow up email to explain the circumstances even though money for this reservation was taken from my bank account.
I would not recommend anyone to book the place in view of the bad experience we encountered.
