I had a long transfer in Amman and instead of staying at the airport at what’s apparently a dreadful airport hotel, I booked Celino (yes, it’s spelled with an o) at an extremely reasonable price. In total it was cheaper for me to stay here, including the taxi transfers, than staying at the airport hotel (although the one time entry visa set me back a little bit, as the airport staff denied there was suck a thing as a transit visa except for staying at the airport hotel). But on the other hand I even managed to squeeze in a visit to the citadel in the morning before heading back to the airport. The room was large, a suite even, with a sofa and TV area, kitchenette and a separate bedroom with a super comfy bed. The staff was friendly and helpful and breakfast filling. The WiFi was a bit slow and only worked in the room, not in the common areas, so I wouldn’t stay here if I needed to do lots of video streaming, but it worked well to check the emails and google for information. (Regarding the citadel they only accept cash, but the entrance fee comes to around €3 so they were fine with accepting a $5 bill. And yes, it’s well worth a visit!)
