'This is a really wonderful place to stay! It’s right on the sea of Cortez with dreamy, sunrises and sunsets, the staff is lovely and helpful. The food is excellent, and the Palapas are charming with your own little deck and hammock, and they are quite large inside. Also the resort offers excellent excursions like boat and snorkel trips, paddleboards, and kayaks and more. I will definitely return.'

'We had a wonderful stay here. Perfect location, clean, friendly staff, and great food! With paddle boards and snorkel gear included, we could be out on the water as much as I wanted. It was a truly magical experience for some rest, and relaxation. Only challenge was when connecting to a 90 min zoom call, the WiFi didn’t sustain. I was kicked offline multiple times through the call. However, for other online work, it was sufficient enough. Would go back for sure! '

If i needed advice, information, or recommendations, Genaro was always so very helpful. Walking distance from the beach and some amazing food! I would recommend this gem of a stay to everyone. Genaro was one of the nicest people i've ever met! Stella Maris is wonderful! I will 100% be returning next year! '

The owners are gracious hosts who clearly care about their guests experience. I only had breakfast at the restaurant, but it was fresh and super tasty. They even surprised me with cheesecake and candles the morning of my birthday! If I am ever in El Sargento again, this is where I will stay. '

It has a friendly hostel feel with some very cozy hangout spaces, yoga mats to use, hammocks and a well equipped communal kitchen. The staff were amazing and very helpful. Carlos helped to organize a Sea tour for us at an affordable price. The smoothies were delicious and the sea view room we stayed in was beautiful with a hammock outside.
