From the start onward the treatment we got in your hotel was bad. I made this report. We checked in on July 21 into room 404. This is a superior room, as ordered, with a king size bed and a sleeping couch. We soon discovered that there were sheets on the bed but not for the couch. I called the front desk to ask where to find the sheets for the sleeping couch, but the lady said that we had not ordered them. Then I went to the front desk with my papers from Expedia. The lady said that this was a double room, not a triple room and that all people let children up to 12 years sleep in their parents bed. I asked her in honesty how we were expected to sleep after a 1.200 kilometers drive from Holland to Bologna with an 8 years child in our bed. I pointed the lady to the papers from Expedia with our order: ‘double bed + sleeping couch for child’. The lady denied that it said so in the order she had received from Expedia. She suggested that I should call Expedia. She repeated that this was a double room, not a triple. I said she should call Expedia and pointed her to the papers from Expedia. She treated me as if I lied about that. Finally the lady grumblingly agreed to give a set of sheets for the couch, but still demanded that I should call Expedia.
The next morning we could not open our room door. From 09:25 until 11:15, when we were finally released by the fire brigade, we were blocked in our room because of a failing lock. We missed our whole schedule for the day.
