The location is excellent, close to Fisherman's village, but far enough away to not have any noise.
The staff was very good with one notable exception, the blond heavyset woman in the beach restaurant who (for some reason) took a dislike to us (we still don't know why) and threw us angry looks for the last 2 weeks of our holiday.
We started out in the deluxe room and chose to upgrade to the plunge pool villa and eventually ended up in the pool villa suite.
- The deluxe room: a very nice, but slightly dated spacious room. Good shower, excellent bed, very pretty bathroom. The balcony has a ceiling fan.
- The plunge pool villa: a very nice, but very dated room (loose wiring, very hard bed, even with 2 toppers). The room is very big, and the plunge pool is very good. The "sunpatio" is a nice touch and the outside shower / bath is very cool.
- The pool villa suite: like stepping into an entirely different resort, very nice, recently renovated rooms. Very spacious, very luxurious. The pool is excellent and the garden / pool area is lockable from the inside. The only complaint we had was (again) the very hard bed, even with topper.
Because we complained about the hard bed in de plunge pool villa we eventually got upgraded to the pool villa, the bed was not really better though.
If you want a soft bed: get the deluxe room (seriously).
All in all: a very good resort, other than some small issues
