Hotel at top location, next to the Cathedral. Trendy style hotel but a bit forced lay-out. The rooms are relatively large compared to the other spaces of the hotel and modern decorated. We experienced however a number of things that did not work or were defect, like the safe in the room or the water draining in the shower. Moreover, at the first day when we returned to the room after it had been cleaned, the cleaners had ledt the wash basin fully filled with water with the plug being broken; no proactive action taken by the hotel to fix it! Finally, a lot of noise/loud music until 5am (from a room one floor up), which stopped after calling the reception at 5am and after loudly shouting to turn of the music. The breakfast is served in a trendy room, but on both days there was no fresh bread (which I expect from a 5-star hotel at this price level!). The small pool at the roof is very nice and the scenery at the roofbar at night is spectacular indeed.
However, the hotel did meet expectations at all that you would expect from a 5-star hotel. You better take another cheaper hotel near the Cathedral and go to the EME for drinks at night only....
