Poor experience
Upon arrival, I was informed my reservation had been canceled. I had to pay additional deposits just to be able to have my prepaid- for room, and the attitude of the front desk clerk, “Alan,” was less than welcoming by far and his sarcasm toward me for arriving “late” was highly unsolicited. He claimed because I didn’t check in on time or call by check-in is the reason they canceled; I explained I was in surgery on Christmas Eve and just got released to travel to my father’s operation for Christmas Day; because they didn’t hear from me by 3pm, they cancelled my reservation, yet kept my money, then put me in a smaller room, with no discount to the rate from the king room I had reserved. I called the front desk to extend for another day and the female desk clerk rudely told me to check out then hung up on me.
Housekeeping and “Sean” at the front desk were great, thankfully. The others… not so much.
