I drove in to Birmingham for work. Usually there is an ability to check in early. I wasn’t able to, which is fine. But the front desk staff were very uninterested in helping. That night after working 14 hours outside at a festival. I went to my room. Got in bed. At about 3:30am I realized I had bugs crawling on me. Killed them, flushed them. Decided to go back to bed. When I woke up and went to shower more bugs in the bathroom and a yellow liquid had dropped all over my clothes from the exhaust vent. I showed a hospitality worker, and they were shocked. Went to the front desk and they didn’t care. I asked for a manager, I was told there was no manager until Monday but a supervisor would call. No calls, no messages. They kept telling me a manager wasn’t there, and never responded almost 4 days later. Expedia won’t refund me, and the property is still avoiding me. I paid 306.00 for a room that was worse than a 109.00 motel I stayed at outside of nashville. Terrible hotel and staff.
