A very clean and quiet hotel for a December getaway (and affordable this time of year.) The room had everything I needed for a relaxing solo trip in the sun, with a comfortable bed and pillows. I loved the pools, especially the quiet one in the back, and the fitness center was excellent. The breakfast restaurant was fabulous, with the hostess/food runner being one of the most positive and delightful person I’ve met.
However, I was disappointed with JD Restaurant as it primarily offered pub food with very few clean, healthy options. Another downside was the heavy use of perfume/fragrance in the lobby, main areas, and fitness center. As someone sensitive to fragrance, it gave me headaches and almost deterred me from working out. Fragrance can be overwhelming and toxic to many, so I’d strongly recommend reconsidering its use.
Despite these issues, I’d definitely return during the off-season to escape the Seattle gray. Cheers!
