Bed bugs/dirty hotel/traumatizing/unfriendly
On july 31 we checked in the hotel between 23:00 and 23:45. The room was for me and my 2 kids. We entered the room and were immediately shocked that the room was incredibly dirty. At that hour we didn’t really know what to do, so we tried to shower in the dirty shower and than tried to sleep. After half an hour I felt strange things crawling on my body. I took my phone to make light and saw little animals on the bed!!! Bed bugs everywhere!!!! Loads of them! They already bit us and there was blood here and there on the sheets. Near the head of my son were loads of bed bugs so I woke my kids up and they jumped up in big shock out of the beds. This was around 1:30.
I went down to the receptionist and he gave us another room and guess what: there were bed bugs too.....we decided to leave and go home early, as it was obvious that we couldn’t stay in such a dirty place with bed bugs. We booked through Expedia, with whom we first booked another hotel in Paris, but that hotel than canceled and Expedia booked this terrible hotel for us.....I don’t wish to anybody what we have been through. It totally traumatised us. Please don’t book this hotel! We booked for 3 nights, and stays for 4 hours waiting for our taxi to take us to the bus home. We didn’t sleep all night as we were standing around the bed scared to even sit down whilst waiting for the taxi. We are still waiting for the money to come back.....didn’t hear either from Expedia nor from the hotel any apology or money back......
