Pool and hot tub under renovation
One of the reasons we booked this place was because the pool area looked nice. We're from MN so having pool time in the winter is a real treat. However, when we checked there was signage that said the pool was closed. This information was NEVER provided - not on the Hotels.com website or in any communication. To say we were disappointed was an understatement. And by the look for project it had been going on for a while and it will continue to be that way. Now, I will say the hotel did comp us a night so that was good. But I would have preferred to have not booked this place and went somewhere that had a pool.
The unit itself is large but definitely on the cheaper end. Or maybe our unit hadn't be renovated recently. The bed was comfortable. If space is your thing this place will work well for you. If better quality is also part of the equation it might not.
But the lack of truthfulness upfront (when looking for a hotel) is a really bad way to run a business and left us with a poor opinion of this resort's business practices.
