At first glance, it was nice! We got a suite with a separate living area with a pull-out sofa for the teenager. When we unfolded it, we found dirty linens covered in crumbs and pink sprinkles. I went to the desk and asked for a set of sheets and changed them myself. The room was stocked with 3 towels and 1 wash cloth. We re-used the towels, but asked for more wash cloths and were graciously given 1 more. The next time we asked, we were told they had none available…
We had trouble with our toilet flushing. My son went to the front desk, and was given a plunger. Really???
The entire stay, not ONE person came to service our room. I dont care if our bed is made up, but refreshing wash cloths and pulling the trash seems pretty important to me! By day 3, we had fruit flies…so I pulled the trash myself and sat it outside of the door when we left that morning. When we returned about 15 hours later, the trash was still there. I went to the front desk to get new liners for the waste baskets and pointed to the bags outside of our door (that was about 30 feet from the front desk and clearly visible to front desk staff and anyone else that approached the front desk. The employee did apologize and collect the trash from the door. He said we were scheduled for housekeeping the next day. Spoiler alert: they never came.
Six days with zero housekeeping, a plunger, 2 wash cloths, and fruit flies. Never again.
I understand hotels no longer provide daily service-but this was TOO MUCH.
